Taste/Description: Chile can be found in between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains. The bulk of Chilean Merlots is made in Chile’s Central Valley and usually features lean fruit and herbal aromas.
It’s been awhile since I’ve had a red wine in the blistering summer heat but I decided to make pizza with my homemade alfredo sauce so I almost had to open a bottle of red for this occasion.

On the palate, this wine is soft with fruit notes of raspberry, black cherry and plum with a nice a smooth finish of cocoa at the end. Overall a good wine.
