Herbal:  Lemongrass Essential Oil

Properties:  muscle aches and pains, physical and mental exhaustion, insect repellent, detoxifying, digestion disorders, fever, acne, pimples, insect bites, insect repellent

Blends Well With:  Basil, black pepper, caraway seed, clary sage, coriander seed, cypress, eucalyptus, peppermint, fennel, geranium, ginger, juniper berry, lavender, orange, oregano, patchouli, ravintsara, rosemary, spearmint, tea tree, thyme, vetiver, ylang ylang

Ways to Use Lemongrass Essential Oil

Acne:  Mix 4 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tsp of coconut oil, massage into face and neck.

Cellulite:  Mix 5 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil, massage into areas of concern.

Depression:  Mix 7 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil, add to a warm bath. OR diffuse 5 drops in an essential oil diffuser. OR Blend six drops of lemongrass oil with 1 tsp of grapeseed oil, massage into feet.

Detox:  Mix 7 drops of lemongrass essential oil in 1 tbsp coconut oil, add mixture to a warm bath.

Fever:  Mix 7 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 2 tbsp of coconut oil, massage into body. OR Mix 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil in 1 tbsp coconut oil, add mixture to a warm bath.

Flatulence:  Mix 4 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tsp of coconut oil, massage into abdomen in clockwise direction.

Fluid Retention:  Mix 7 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil, add to a warm bath, soak for 20 minutes.

Focus & Concentration:  Diffuse 5 drops of lemongrass essential oil in an essential oil diffuser.

Headaches: Mix 2 drops of lemongrass oil with ½ tsp of grapeseed oil. Massage into temples. OR diffuse 3 drops of lemongrass essential oil in an essential oil diffuser.

Immune System:  Mix 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil and add to a warm bath.  OR Blend 8 drops of lemongrass oil with 2 tbsp grapeseed oil, massage into body.

Insect Repellant: Diffuse 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil in a diffuser and enjoy your outdoor time.

Muscular Aches and Pains:  Mix 5 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil, massage into area of concern. OR Mix 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tbsp of coconut oil, add to warm bath.

Open Pores: Mix 4 drops of lemongrass essential oil with 1 tsp of coconut oil, massage into face and neck.

Poor Circulation:  Blend 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil in 1 tbsp coconut oil, add to warm bath. Follow with a cool shower to give your circulation a boost. OR  Blend 8 drops of lemongrass oil with 2 tbsp grapeseed oil, massage into body

Rheumatism:  Blend 8 drops of lemongrass oil with 2 tbsp grapeseed oil, massage into body.

Tired, Swollen Feet:  Blend 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil with ½ tsp of coconut oil, add to a warm foot bath.
