What Are We Drinking: Cloud Break Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Reserve

Region: California

ABV: 13.5%

Cost: $10

Pair With: Grilled meats

Color/Appearance: deep ruby

Aromas: chocolate, coffee, berries

Taste /Description: Winter in the Sunshine State calls for a warm Cabernet Sauvignon and this wine didn’t disappoint. When I opened the bottle, I was greeted with fresh berries, warm coffee and chocolate. On the palate you get rich dark berry flavors of cherry and blackberries with a hint of vanilla. Full tannins, nice legs, full bodied but not heavy in mouthfeel. Soft finish. Enjoy this with a meal featuring grilled meats or you can do like I did and pair it with pizza.
