From the moment I decided on herbalism and wine being my niches, I was planning this article. Not because I’m a hopeless romantic but because I love herbalism and the fun and benefits it brings.
Valentine’s Day celebrations can be enjoyed by everyone young and old.
Last year I had a candle line I called it “LOVE” and it had notes of citrus and rose petals. I love this combination, so I worked on how to formulate it for room sprays and diffuser blends.

Self-care is the best care so let’s start with a warm bath to relax
Spa Day Bath Recipe
2 tbsp Carrier Oil (grapeseed, coconut, or olive oil)
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
3 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
3 drops Marjoram Essential Oil
1 cup Epsom salt
In a medium-size bowl, combine the carrier oil and essential oils; with a spoon, slowly mix in Epsom salt into the oil mixture and blend. Pour the mixture into warm running bath water. Enjoy
Remember the LOVE candles I used to create? Let’s turn this into a room spray to set the mood. Super easy.
Love Room Spray
17 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil
17 drops Rose Essential Oil
Distilled water
Spray bottle
In a 4 -ounce spray bottle, add the essential oils, top off with distilled water. Shake well and spray. Be sure not to spray directly on fabrics or skin.
Now that you’re relaxed, how about a massage?
Massage Oil
4 drops Bergamot Essential Oil
4 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
4 drops Sandalwood Essential Oil
3 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
4 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
3 drops Ginger Essential Oil
1 drop Black Pepper Essential Oil
1 oz carrier oil
Glass bottle
In the glass bottle, add the essential oils and carrier oil and blend well. Apply as desired AVOIDING sensitive areas.
