I am currently studying to become a community herbalist and have used herbs to treat minor ailments for 14 years. All information shared in these posts come from study, research and experience.

Before we get into the amazing uses of this flower, let’s go over some basic GUIDELINES as these will apply to any herb you work with:

*Prior to starting an herbal regimen, speak with a licensed *physician.

*Herbal medicines (sometimes called supplements) come in     flower, capsules, tinctures and essential oils.

*Essential oils SHOULD NEVER BE INGESTED WITHOUT A DOCTOR APPROVAL.

*Essential oils should be mixed with a carrier oil and tested on a small patch of skin to test for allergic reactions.

*Carrier oils: Coconut, almond, grapeseed, apricot, and hemp. (There are others, do your research for a complete list).

*ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU ARE UNSURE.

*The herbal market isn’t licensed by the FDA but, there are excellent (and well known) herbal manufacturers online as well as brick and mortar. Read customer reviews, ask for lab results etc. The point is to make sure the products you use are safe for you, your family, and community.
